The demand for more content, greater speed and new communication protocols is exploding across many global markets. Services such as High Speed Internet Access, Voice over Internet, Video-On-Demand, Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) and High Resolution TV Broadcasting represent substantial new revenue opportunities for Telecommunications Operators and Network suppliers. To meet these increased bandwidth requirements, as well as improved Quality of Service and lower energy consumption, we offer Telecom Operators and Network Suppliers the best-in-class customized solutions for fiber network installation.
There are different methods to install fiber optic cabling namely aerial, underground and submarine. Choosing which technique to execute depends on the environmental factors, the population’s density, the business perspective, and the area’s development. We implement underground as well as aerial optical network infrastructure in urban and rural areas in accordance to the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards and best practices.
FTTX is a generic term used for any broadband network architecture that uses optical fiber to provide all or part of the local loop used for last mile telecommunications. FTTX is a generalization for different deployment and technology options which are grouped in 2 main divisions: FTTH/FTTP/FTTB (fiber deployed all the way to the home/premises/building) and FTTC/FTTN (fiber deployed to the cabinet/node). These different options enable fiber as near the user location as possible thus providing internet connection speeds of at least at VDSL speeds.
Ultra Technology deploys the following configuration options:
